I think that's why...but I agree insofar as he's not a world-beater and won't shape our season on his own.
IMO if kewell hadn't had the bad luck with injuries he would have been a world beater. When the man left leeds we fought off juve, man utd and barca to sign him so they obviously saw the potential there too. Why i want him to stay fit is as you say, he is the best left winger at our club and we are much better when he is in it. Give him another month to get fit and see how he's playing then

You are blind .. the whole team plays differently when he is on the park. I have given him stick over the year ala put up or shut up but watching him play now its obvious just what he brings to the team and more importantly our performances. Put him on the pitch with Torres, Benny and Stevie and sweet jesus the movement is brilliant and the creativity is off the chart. And thats what we all want to see, edge of the seat pass and move attacking football

Harry Kewell is class, he has the confidence all great players have to try the amazing, he 2nd guess's his opponents and more importantly his team mates. No more hope, Harry is going to be the **** all season long

This isn't a Kewell thread, but...

We keep the ball much better when he's in the side - a la Crouch. His technique and touch is first class so, while he's lost some of that ability to run past defenders, he can still use the ball very well, particularly in tight areas.

        Back to us...

It's nearly fricken Christmas and we've conceded TWO goals away from home, with a trip to Reading coming up. I reckon we'll hammer 'em an all!

if you'd told me start of season we'd have conceeded 2 away goals AND still be undefeated AND be only 7 points off top with game in hand AND still in all 4 competitions in december then i'd have bit ur cock off to accept that.

Hope you're right. 3 points in this fixture is now absolutely imperative with Arse dropping points tonight and the 3 title challengers having winnable matches at the weekend. Too often this season we've failed to capitilise whne others around us have dropped points - time for that to change.

Went to Morrisons, bought a nice Pepperoni and a Spicy Beef pizza, came home, bunged them in the oven, then realised I have to fast tonight because I've got a blood test in the morning

I can't understand why the Arse played their game in hand tonight and we didn't,especially as it appears the game still hasn't been given a new date. We're on fire at the moment so it'd been ideal to play West Ham now, then Reading,2 home games in a row.

Totally agree. I assume it must've been our decision to not play the game tonight?

                          Bloody annoying.

Sometimes, don't want to get too excited.

I said this at the weekend and it was pointed out that we couldn't as Everton were playing.

Well actually what I did is I cut each of them in half and put in a half each so as to try both of them. They did look quite nice, better than the M&S mushroom and bacon one I had yesterday. Ended up putting them in the fridge and will prob have them tomorrow instead - no matter, cold pizza
