Nothing at all, just a wanky little supervisor who logged me out when I left my workstation (yeah I had to work Sunday)

As it worked out today, we could have drawn and still been better off.. oh well lets move on and as I said in the above post, we could be REALLY close by the time the FA Cup kicks in - but only if Rafa + the team sticks to the formula!!

Well at last Arsenal are dropping points and Boro have just saved us by beating them at home 2-1. And that has put us back behind them 7 points still which can be wittled down to 4 if we win our game in hand.

It could have been just 1 point had we won yesterday and I've accepted it (mainly thanks to Arse) but we've already put that behind us and know we must win on Tues AND SUN.. I think Anfield will be mental on Sunday this is the first time we know we can really beat them especially after last seasons last minute snatch from a certain irishman.

Thing is, Rafa has yet to beat Ferguson in the league - but you just feel that's about to change on his beloved Anfield sideline .

And I still believe we can win the league this season, there's been too many shocks to the big teams so far, and that could suggest a very tight season and title race..

What cheeses me off most about the Reading game...

...is that the Arsenal & Man C results went in our favour & like the last 17 miserable years previously, we failed to take advantage of it. I'm not blaming the manager or the players but was the Marseille game that much of a distraction? Yes it's a must win on Tuesday away from home but ffs Marseille are 13th in the lowly French league! Surely we have the quality to beat them even if we don't even use our best team?!
Furthermore we shouldn't even be in this situation, we should have qualified ages ago so we could have concentrated more on Reading & the Scum and let the reserves play in France on Tuesday! But I guess everything happens for a reason, or I would like to believe that.
So now we probably have to beat the Scum or at the very least draw next weekend because otherwise I feel the league is over - AGAIN! And isn't it strange that every time we've beaten the Scum, with the exception of the FA Cup Quarter in 2006, it was basically because pride was at stake. Every time we've needed to beat them in order to challenge for the Premiership, we've almost always come up 2nd best & even when we've outplayed them!
I'm gonna be at Anfield next weekend & nothing would make me happier than seeing that fat, drunkard Scotsman get what he friggin deserves! Even if we play the worst football, get 3 players sent off, I don't care - as long as we take 3 points off the Scum when it really counts!!!

Lots of 'ifs' arent there? If we didnt lose to Reading, if Arsenal won they'd be 10 points clear, if Rafa didnt take Gerrard off against Everton, if only we'd beat Marseille at home, if Manu U didnt lose to Bolton. Its enough to make your head explode. We cant win every game. Arsenal have dropped 5 out of the last 6 points. We have been on a great run too in all comps. I just wish I could understand why Benitez does what he does with team selection. But noboby does I guess.
