Thanjk you.

He took off Gerrard against Everton as well so what, is he undropable?
Also, when Gerrard came off we did not play any worse in fact we came closer to scoring. I see the match against Reading as more of a freak result we were average and they were below average and we let in three soft goals, end of **** like that happens sometimes.
If Gerrard stayed on it wouldn't have made any difference it just wasn't our night and as I said when he came off we created more clear cut chances.
Anyway, time to move on I'm focused on us beating the SCUM on the weekend if you want to spend your time tonight moaning about the Reading result then be my guest.
So half time in Istanbul, we just jack it in do we?
No Gerrard isn't undroppable, no player is, but he scored and hit the bar, and Torres should've had two pens. Basically our two best attacking players and top scorers were withdrawn because "it wasn't our night" and the Marseille game was more important.
Your point that had Gerrard stayed on that he wouldn't have done something, if there's one player who can change any game it's him. I sight tonight as the latest evidence of this.
Before the game, I'm sure that Rafa said something about concentrating on the Manure and then "hopefully" Chelsea and Portsmouth (I think that's what he said...) Rafa hinting at his position or just being playful?
Also, both Stevie and Carra said that they were ignoring the friction between manager and owners and getting on with it, but neither said anything to support Rafa... not wanting to take sides or not wanting to side with the guy who could be on his way out?
I have a nasty feeling something stupid is going to happen. Rafa is such a poker-playing brinkmanship merchant.
Bring on The Scum. Torres is The Light and we are like moths to his brilliant flame.

As I said wasn't our night, we lost to Reading bad result but we're still only six point off the pace in December and we haven't this close since I can't even remember when. Anyway, I'm moving on to think about hating the SCUM on the weekend. Enjoy your bitter moaning.
DJS - I made the exact same point to my Mrs tonight. Why leave them on when we don't need to? At 3-0 Torres & SG should have been off. As it stands we played the perfect game tonight - but whether we'll be able to sustain that on Sunday in light of them staying on tonight is yet to be seen.
