I hope we all get to see him ply his trade for a good long while. We supporters deserve it and I genuinely believe Harry does to. Can't wait to see his celebration when he score's his next goal. BTW that goal is due and I think this weekend will provide the perfect stage for Harry to show his gratitude to Rafa.

      Harry winner

      You heard it here first.

The pundits over here were creaming themselves over him, one of them also stated that he spoke to his manager Bernie whatsisface, and Bernie said Kewell was feeling the best he has in years, and that he is loving playing with Torres. They have developed a nice little bond on the pitch.

        Please stay fit Harry.
Yeah. Kewell and Torres look like they've been playing together for years.

Two top notch players. Hopefully we get to see the real Harry now.

anyone ever notice that if riise is playing left back there's always loads of opposition traffic on that side? this seems not to happen when kewell is in front of him and loads of times last night kewell was knocking around our own box to close down, make a tackle and get the ball.

regarding kuyt i don't think he did much different last night than he does whenever he plays. if we're playing crap he doesn't have the guile to do the unexpected but if we're playing well he seems to slot in fairly seemlessly. just not a game-changer i guess.

Can I add Sami to that list? Apart from stamping on Mascher, he was very good. He's been written off as a liability, passed it, etc by so many this season, but with the exception of probably 2 bad games, he's shown he's still a top CB.

                    Sami Hyypia

that's fine, but surely you're not expecting to need 4 figures in the fanclub count. 2, or 02 would do it; 0002 is wildly optimistic.

I think the Torres - Kuyt partnership is the best option at the moment. Kuyt seems to dovetail well with the kid and between them they pose a significant threat (when Kuty's form is good).

                                I'll back that

Was watching the game with a fellow red in a pub in Newington Green last night. We both agreed that Sami has been a stalwart for our club and up there with many of the great defenders we have had. Doesn't miss his pace because he never had any, but his positioning and strength are still second to none. I for one can remember the **** defence we had before he joined (Phill Babb, John Scales and Neil Ruddock anyone?) and I can tell you this guy has made a huge impact on our team from day one.

Big respect goes out to Sami
