Two points at home out of 9 against the other big 3 is VERY POOR and we will NOT win the league this year.

No change since last year: 2 closely matched teams, once again they bide their time then beat us from a set piece at the end of a half. After they cut the supply to Torres, we huffed and puffed as usual, and never looked like beating them.
If we are ever to beat them, we need to be a hell of a lot more clinical with our set pieces, because they sure aren't going to let us waltz in and slice them apart with our passing.

Game of fine margins. We should have had a penalty. A draw would have been the best result. We played well second half and totally dominated against a team playing men behind the ball. It was luck again if we had had the penalty.

Move on ... We're progressing and closing the gap. Not much between us.

We shouldn't have a chance to win the league this season to be fair. The other top clubs have built their team for years spending a lot of money.

Rafa has been able to go for his first choice targets in one window. It takes a lot of money and hard work before we have quality all over the pitch.

A few things:

Yes, yes I know, Kuyt again, but what does Rafa see in him? Yeah he played well in midweek, but today he was rubbish. Gave the ball away nearly everytime, then for some bizarre reason he went wide right. Why? He doesn't cross it well at all, and it took 75 minutes to get him off.

Mascherano. Brilliant. Must be signed.

We lacked composure. Just about every player. Reckon it's a mental thing with playing those cunts now. Ever since Rafa has been here we've mostly lost. You'll notice that the one player who was composed was Babel who's only just arrived.

Would like to see Babel play up front with Torres, reckon they'd be mint. Both skillful, have pace and can score goals.
