how are ya Jan mate, thanks for this it sounds encouragingOriginally posted by Jan-Erik View PostLiverpool.no was present during a "former Liverpool player" dinner after todays game, and Gillett was present. This is the most important things he said:
"Rafa is the man we want as manager and he's got our support"
"I've been married for 40 years and know how to deal with an argument"
"Our squad is better then last year and we want to build on that. This work has just only began"
"The transfere window is coming up, and we may, or may not take advantage of it"
"Liverpool is a huge club. Its not our club, its the supporters club and thats how it will always be"

I'd like to hear G&H say those things publicly and firmly shut the media up.Originally posted by Jan-Erik View PostLiverpool.no was present during a "former Liverpool player" dinner after todays game, and Gillett was present. This is the most important things he said:

Exactly.Originally posted by The Glove View PostI like this better than the ****ty statement but why not say **** like this as the statement?
If those quotes are true, the failure for them to be made public via the press would bizarrely suggest that G&H actually WANT there to be doubts and speculation - which wouldnt add up.
Oh for ****'s sake, what's happening to us?

Maybe they want to keep the pressure on? We've played fairly decent while all this has been going on. Theyre cranks if thats the case tho.Bill Oddie, Bill Oddie, put your hands all over my body.

"We will sign Aguero"

Sounds a lot better than the statement.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I agree about the Yanks, but Rafa aint whiter than white and he started the process of washing our dirty linen in public and drew attention to the problem. The supposition that he did it to save his job is one point of view, I think he was pissed off and sulking- which he was enititled to feel, but shouldn't have dealt with it via the press- IMOOriginally posted by DJS View PostThey clearly havent got the foggiest when it comes to football or LFC, that much is obvious.
This whole thing has been embarrassing and totally not in keeping with how we do things.
Fecking yanks.

It might be prudent for all involved to take advantage of all the uncertainty.
As agonising as it would be for the fans, the more the media are focused on the stadium and Rafa's position, the less column inches they will have to reveal our transfer plans. It's not good because it's rude. It's good because it looks like it's good because it's rude.
