FLMAOOriginally posted by paulcooper4 View PostYozzer is a great little player. Always trying different things, has a great eye for a pass and works his balls off too.
Anyone who says otherwise is a prick.
eloquent as always.
Face it, he's good but he's not the required level to be first choice a spot in a title winning team.

I liked Smicer. The fact that we insisted on playing him out wide meant he could do nothing for us. Might as well have played Dudek out there.
Benayoun will go the same way (as a player, and in our eyes) if persistently played on the wing.Francis.

And when I say 'play Gerrard on the left', I mean on the left

Agree and it's so Rafa to buy players and play them OOP.Originally posted by Frank Leroux View PostI liked Smicer. The fact that we insisted on playing him out wide meant he could do nothing for us. Might as well have played Dudek out there.

My problem is whoever we get to fill that postition has to be ****ing awesome, as a fan base we are pinning everything on them. I don't see anyone who we can get, that is the player we crave. I can't think of a team that has played against us with quality widemen who have roasted our full backs, anyone think of any?

I liked Vlad too, he was suprisingly one of our top assist players when he was fit.Originally posted by Frank Leroux View PostI liked Smicer. The fact that we insisted on playing him out wide meant he could do nothing for us. Might as well have played Dudek out there.

FRANK RIBERY would of been an great signing

Coz real LFC fans don't "Slag Off" players who try their best, even if they aren't good enough, it can even make them cult heroes!Originally posted by MascheredUp View PostI know it's the norm to slag off Kuyt, Riise, Momo etc, but thought he was utter ****e today.
Completely anonymous. No guts, desire or strength. Defensively inept and leaves Arbeloa/Finnan exposed.
I still stand by my statement that he was the wrong signing for us (not his fault I know)."that is my opinion and that is more important than what anyone else has to say about it" - Mr A.Fergusson, Oct 2011

You gotta be ****ing kidding me with this ****e.

If Tevez was beyond Reina (the second last defender) when the ball was played to him (and he was certainly level or beyond) then he was offside. Hard one to call as Reina is edging back and forth as the ball is played in, but it's a close call.Last edited by Abdul Alhazred; 19-12-07, 09:35 PM.Remember, we're only adding to the nonsense.
Walking a lonely road one night, Nasruddin saw riders approaching. His imagination ran riot: he saw himself robbed or killed, so he climbed a wall into a graveyard and hid. Puzzled at his behaviour, the riders, who were followers of the Mullah, followed. Finding him cowering behind a grave, they asked "Great Sage, why are you hiding here?". "It's more complicated than you think" he replied, "I'm here because of you - and you're here because of me"

No way mate. It was clear cut no doubt whatsoever onside. Talk about catching the Red Eye.
