I thought we did well considering how much we are lacking as a team without Gerrard and Torres - they had a very strong team out. Its obvious our strikers bar Torres are not good enough, midfield didn't do too bad and the wide areas have been shute for us for years. All in all not bad, lets move on.

We were holding our own but without any real goal threat and that is a problem.

Torres and Gerrard are our only real goal threats.

Yeah it wasn't a bad performance at all ... similar story to when we play any of the top 4 .. dominate most of the possession, create chances but don't put them away

I think we were excellent first half without having much cutting edge... 2nd half we worked hard but were simply not good enough to break them down. I am really concerned at our passing and movement under Rafa.. there is no pace or guile sometimes and that annoys me no matter who is playing.
