Yes of course DIC COULD afford to invest mega bucks into LFC but why would they. They would view LFC as they would any other investment which means they want to minimise spend and maximise profits. There's no way on earth DIC would cough up enough to buy LFC, fund the stadium and then give Rafa untold millions for the team. When it looked like DIC would buy us people close to them made that clear. Also remember the leaked document that said they'd sell us in 7 years times as they thought that would be the optimum selling point. Anyone thinking DIC would be knights on white horses saving LFC from the daterdly yanks is living in cloud cuckoo land IMO.

Do I really have a choice?

What I mean is that if Rafa want a high quality player that would improve the team a lot then he should get a chance to sign him even if that player costs £20m+.

Of course he can't sign a lot of £20m+ players every season but two-three/season should be possible as long as he sells off some players.

I couldnt give a **** wht our budget is to be honest mate, as long as we dont just go spending silly money like them cunts united and chelsea. What liverpool and arsenal do is more my cup of tea, and involves more managerial skill.

I grew up watching us buy one, maybe 2 if your lucky, good players each summer and maybe a squad filler or two. This is what I like to see.

I dont ever want to see us become one of them cuntish clubs like United, Chelsea or Real madrid that just spunk good money after bad in a ridiculous attempt to buy trophys.

I prefer the liverpool way.

Too many players coming in all the time just upsets the rhythm and balance anyway, as Real will testify to down the years.

Some hungry workhorses with a sprinkkling of quality players around is the right balance and we are damn close to having the perfect balance.

A load of superstar bellends coming in would just **** that balance right up[ and send us backwards
