Hicks and Gillett aren't going anywhere imo.

yes I know, some can't seem to get enough of the DIC
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Historically United may have been the only club "making money" but Arsenal now have an excellent platform to start generating a lot of money, there is no reason why LFC can't look to both clubs on how to make a successful business; we'll never generate the amounts that Arsenal can at the stadium, but we are much more of a global "brand" than the Gunners, so we should out strip them in other commercial areas.

They will sell up if someone offers them a big enough profit. They tried to sell 15% of the club to DIC.

            It's all about money.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I was asked to help Telegraph. I suggested they start with forums and then do their own independent survey online so it isn't biased by any one indvidual. They agreed.

My suggestion for them is that dont listen to internet loud mouths and think that is the 'voice of the fans'.

I suggest they find another club to **** stir about. Why dont they poke about Manchester City and their owner.

I guess that the media won't find that much interesting about writing about Shinawatra because he don't interfere at all in the day to day business. He is there to write the checks, nothing more, nothing less.

How about where the money comes from? That would make interesting reading.

Of course they would sell up if someone offers them a huge profit on their investment. That's incredibly obvious AF. However, what are the chances of DIC offering far more for LFC as a club than what we're worth?? Very very slim. I mean why would they when they didn't feel the need to up their bid last time round when they were faced with competition from the Yanks? It just doesn't make sense. I'm sure you're now going to respond with some fantasy scenario but if you deided to respond within the realms of reality you would probably see that there is very very little chance of DIC or anyone for that matter coming up with a huge offer to take over from G& H.

Who knows if DIC are still interested? It's all about if they want to buy the club to make a big profit, if that is the case then they won't be interested anymore because G&H will only sell for a stupid price and that means no big profit.

Just out of interest, why would the Telegraph ask you for help regarding LFC matters? Seems odd as you don't have any official connection to the club.

And do you really think the Sheikh would sanction an investment without the intention of making a big profit?? Well, it's a no brainer, he wouldn't and that's why he's as successful as he is.
