He'd have Rafa too I reckon, but if I'd pick any other manager for Rafa NOT to fight it's be Jewell cos he's cool.
I don't know, I reckon Rafa could take him, he would tactically out manouver him and be fighting with more dicipline and possibilities.

'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

The Don Rafa is back I reckon he is telling him, he will be sleeping with the fish.
To be honest, I can't understand why Jewell is so upset, All managers give out about rash tackles or even 50/50 chalenges. Not as if it was out of the blue.

This year we've defnitely seen a more animated Rafa. I noticed he punched the air when we beat Derby the other day...very un Rafa like. He also tends to freak out more during games than previous seasons.

Pressure from above mebbe? Or mebbe he finally sees us as having a realistic (even if outside) chance of delivering the title. Or mebbe both. Or mebbe neither.
              3rd place. Worst champions ever.

probably to piss of Jewell after his confrontation.
I have noticed he is more animated too, it has been gradually increasing since he came to England. He realises it is an essential part of a managers makeup in England to try and influence the refs.

...or he is feeling the pressure more.

No doubt about it. You can see it in his face, the pressure is telling.

true could be that too. Knowing Rafa though, I wouldn't be surprised if it is just to get some kind of an edge, Maureen, Slur Alex and Wenger did/do it all the time to seek an influence. It is an essential part of a managers makup as I suggested.
