    is correct

directors should shut their mouths and sign the cheques...thats one thing that remains true since shankly carved it in stone.

the guy is american, hes coming from a different world and thats not how things are in the fickle, commerciality of a US sports franchise.

hell learn...or hell have to if he wants to make money on his investment

      AFII?
      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

...Because his statements are internally inconsistent. Internal inconsistency suggests he's lying, either to us alone or to himself as well.

I realise you find this all rather irritating but how do you resolve the paradox of him claiming to have complete confidence in Rafa and yet opining that the players lacked confidence against Man United, given that it's the manager's job to motivate the team and inculcate a sense of self-belief?

Btw, I find it rather irritating that an LFC Chairman is busy promoting himself in the media at the possible expense of intra-club harmony. Does that not bother you?

I have stopped shavin my head
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

              * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

Yes it does. I wish both him and Rafa would shut the f**k up and deal with their issues in private.

Rafa should stop going to the media too. He has done this too often in the past, it was kinda taking the piss going on the way he did, especially after the Athens post match conference, but obviously, I do think Rafa was right in what he was thinking, just went about expressing himself in the wrong way, should have been behind closed doors.
Hicks though, has a hell of alot of learning to do.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with what Hicks said and he called the United game spot on without a doubt.

I agree his assessment was brutally honest whether he should tell all and sundry is a different matter.
                            We come not to play.

Do you actually read anyone else's comments or are you just so intent on posting your "thoughts" that you don't bother?

You need to ask that question.
