It's an outrageous piece of journalism by the Telegraph. How many times have the likes of Rafa, Xabi etc mentioned jokingly that they found the scouse accent hard to understand? And now Hicks says it, he's deemed to be insulting scousers. Ridiculous.

Not sure if its been posted yet but read an article on Teletext the other day which made my blood boil and confirmed what I really feel about those bloody yanks. I hate them with a passion and wish we could do something to get rid of them. Apparantly Hicks has been shooting his mouth off in the US mag Sports Illustrated - claims the team believes it is inferior to the Mancs and Rafa should stop spouting. Well you need to start reading the article in question instead of a poor precis on teletext, THEN you can make a more informed judgement.............well maybe.
