Thanjk you.

Defensively he is not the best but he is excellent at set pieces and if he stays injury free could be world class for us, saying that does anyone know how many goals he has scored in his career? I don't think it's many for a bloke with a fanastic left foot
Seen him twice and he looked exceptionally good for a young player but a bit weak both times.
For the record Harry Redknapp said last year that he had never seen a better defender than Traore at his age, which is obviously very high praise indeed.
In terms of his long term future Cliche had to wait a long time behind Cole for his chance. I guess it depends on the players mentality but Wenger is an expert in managing this situations. From what I hear from Arsenal fans they seem to assume in a couple of year Traore will be their first choice, so maybe he has nothing to worry about. As a young player I think I would stick at Arsenal in that sort of situation (obviously I would be off to LFC like a shot but, you get what I mean).
Not to turn this thread into an Arsenal luv fest but Clichy looks class and if this guy is rated to be better than him, then Wow. thats the only thing I can say.
He is our best left back but isn't ready yet but he will soon need to play first team football or he won't make the next step.
Next season will be a good time for him to start as a back up to our first choice left back. That will give him enough playing time and he wouldn't play to much and get injured because of that.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
I do not understand how somebody can be classified as our best left back yet has barely even played for us. How do we know he is? Because of previous form? What he has done for another club is now meaningless. Different country, different league.
Tis like saying that Fernando Morientes was our best striker based on his form in La Liga.
If he does not 'make it' then he clearly is not our best left back. He is merely a technically gifted kid who cannot play in this league.
I think Fabio has more than enough in him to claim Best Left Back title. Its only fitness that is his problem. The other stuff will come with an extended run in the side.

kinell fella, i've been gone for about 3 weeks and the first post of yours I read is this post you keep rehashing about Insua being our best left back.
No he isn't, Arbeloa and Aurelio are ahead of him, he may go on to become our best left back, but at this moment he isn't, ffs he's played all of about 2 first team matches.
AFII's new years resolution - stop making preposterous claims
Then again there's about as much chance of that happening as there is of this rocking horse next to me taking a massive ****
Aurelio is excellent going forward but still has it all to prove defensively. One perfromance last year at home in a CL group game (can't remember who) was the worst i can recall from an LFC defender.

be very careful with comments like that, when recalling such greats a Josemi, Jan Kromkamp, Djimi Traore and Pelegrino and that's just recent times
I don't think he's quick enough. His ability with the ball (both from dead balls and in play) might balance that out but lack of pace is a problem throughout the team (with some obvious exceptions) and in that respect Aurelio is part of the problem not part of the solution.
He's a good player - I'm just in a mood today for making (what I would call) balanced assessments (re. my comments on Mascherano and Gerrard).
Absolutely agree. He's so, so skillfull and intelligent as a player, but there's no pace, at all really. It's a hard one.
