Eh, if you are taking about being muscled out of the ball then you don't need to look any further than Pennant. He tries to save himself by diving when he loses the ball. At least Kewell stands up and tries to get it back.
Pennant isn't the strongest either but he has the pace to get away from defenders, which Kewell doesn't have anymore. You need pace or muscle, Kewell has neither. And it's Pennant's first game back from injury, I think he deserves more than 45 minutes before people start having a go at him.
Yes it does, when we never get players in the box from midfield to get on the end of crosses.
Gerrard and Mascherano both had comfortable (understatement) scoring chances after bursting into the box and had one of them scored their chance, nobody would have moaned about it. We had plenty of times where people got into the box but our delivery has been poor.
Arsenal have played with just Adebayor up front on his own for about 2 months, yet no-one ever points to that because they usually win. It doesn't necessarily spell out negativity.
They have pace throughout the team so when they do attack, there tends to be more players available in the box when a cross does come in. They're also very good at making and exploiting gaps to work in.
"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."
I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."
Our problem is not the number of strikers on the pitch, its the fact that our crosses have been hopeless. Serious lack of quality balls coming in from Pennant, Finnan and pretty much none from Kewell's side. What I'd give for one decent whipped cross!
Brown's effort could well have beaten Pepe if it was on target.
Kirkland hans't really been tested yet, our efforts on target have been comfortable for him.
Torres and Gerrard have linked up well at times but for the most part Nando has found himself having to battle against 2, 3 or more defenders on his own which, to be honest, is ridiculous for a team playing at home.
What a ****in bellend you are. In that case, Pepe could have scored 6 with his goal kicks if they had been on target:whatever:

to be honest, I think we play better with just Torres upfront on his own. That leaves an attacking midfield to cause having without the likes of Kuyt and Voronin doing little on the wing.
"What's your favourite Beatles album then?"
"I think I'd have to say....Best of the Beatles"
"Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. Im not down with the people who steal and hurt others. Im just a brother who fight back."

Some of us are "crying" about having one up, because having one up, often leaves the loan striker isolated (as Torres is tonight, by the sound of it).
What you have to remember, is the fact that a lot people in this match thread are not able to see the game, and are therefore reliant on media "chumps" on the likes of Sky Sports Centre, and the radio etc!
Personally, i believe that when you have a strong team, and your playing against crap that sit behind the ball, you should have 2 strikers!
And BTW, when we score and go on to win, people here have not been fickle, pessimistic etc. We have played poorly. 1 striker was a mistake, as proven by the fact we created **** all. I expect it to change in the 2nd half but I don't want to hear you smug ****s getting all superior, ok.

They're two strikers are sitting on the half way line and defending! They could have 10 strikers on the pitch, it wouldn't matter. They are here to defend and try and catch us on the break.
Our 5 mids are there to try and break down a stubborn defence.
Well, here we are in a room with two manky hookers and a racist dwarf. I think I'm heading home.
