Everyone that want or think that Mourinho will be our next manager should know that it's the worst hidden secret ever that he already have an agreement with Milan and will join them in the summer.
The thing with mourinho is that, in terms of the overall scenario, he has never failed at any major project he has undertaken.
Porto - peerless in their own league, champions of europe, something unheard of for them.
Chelsea - dominated the league. Chelsea hadnt even been CONTENDERS for 50 years, and he didnt just challenge for it - he dominated it, and won it back to back.
It would only have been a matter of time before he won the CL for them too.
The man is the most obvious example of a winner that i've seen for a long time. Dare i say it, his 'winners profile' reminds me of Kenny's. Totally driven and ultimately, he BELIEVES his own hype, which the players then do too.
If our lack of a league title is down in any major way to mentality (which i believe, in parts, it is), then Mourinho would certainly fix that.
I honestly feel a lot of people fall for this media persona he helps create.
He creates this persoan of a man who is totally self confident to the point of obsession. A man with no self doubt which he transmits to his players.
Under Ranieri, Chelsea were a good side, they often beat us, but they'd go and lose to teams like Leicester and anyone who would compete physically with them.
Mourinho eradicated that overnight and I believe a lot of that is to do with the self confidence and bravado he transmits to the players. That's how you win the league, by ruthlessly sweeping lesser sides apart and by competing with your top 4 rivals. Mourinho's persona is not THAT far removed from Shakly's media persona IMO. He was full of self confidence, never had a good word to say for any of our rivals, constantly belittling them and deriding them. Mourinho does the same, that's why we hate him, he pointed out our weaknesses and poked fun at us in the media, Shanks would do the same. It creates self doubt in your opponents.
Rafa hasn't done either of these and doesn't look any closer to doing it.

He is a winner Shaggs, everyone harps about the money he had at Chelsea but he didnt have it at Porto. Tonight i would take him over Rafa but tommorrow i may have calmed down.
Thats right he didnt have money at Porto and was in the frame with rafa for the job here so he was obviously rated and frankly if the money was available which it was at Chelsea why wouldnt you spend it? Anyone who says that they wouldnt want Rafa to have access to those sort of funds is lying imo. Som e of us even thought the money tap was going to be turned on by G&H. Every other post on here is about supporting rafa with $$ especially when we loose or draw. Money has and always will be the difference in a sport like Football.

Spot on with every word.
I genuinely cant imagine looking at Rafa on TV with him not being our manager, i really cant. The prospect hurts a little.
But you have to focus on the objectives, it's not about how much we love Rafa or how nice a bloke he is. It's about the best for LFC and we've been 3rd/4th best side in the country for some time, without any GENUINE signs that we're about to improve on that.
In terms of the LEAGUE alone, can anyone genuinely make one valid point that suggests Rafa could win us the league title? Or even have us still challenging at Easter? I dont mean things like 'but we look like we are getting there'. I mean actual examples of things which have happened - not subjective stuff.
