But I do know a couple of people who DO work for the BBC and they know **** all about the LFC takeover, so why should Lawro just because he works for the BBC?

Ex professional who knows people in the game.....You were not
Played for Liverpool so knows people connected to the club....again which you are not.

So he possibly knows something matey or at least gets to hear more stuff going about.
Well I have conversations quite frequently with an ex-LFC legend who played with Lawro and was playing for the club more recently than Lawro and who meets up with his ex-team mates more frequently than Lawro Everytime I've asked him about things going on in the club he said it's a complete falicy that ex-players get told any of LFC's business. No-one official tells them anything, obviously, and people who've heard little rumours all assume the ex-players know already and therefore don't tell them.

Still at least we have AFII

Unless Lawro is his journo bitch......
But, whatever, I don't care what people choose to believe

I like this expression 'I've heard a few things'. Guess what Mark, so have I ,and so has everyone on this site, doesnt mean a thing. Then again, I'm not getting piad to 'hear a few things'.

              That's not what I heard.
              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Nope. I said 'heard' not 'read'.

We can but hope, but if true that will mean the end of Mascher.

"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

But....that decision will not be made by the yank, who do not give a flying **** what is going on as long as the club is making money.

They bought the club to sell it on and make a profit, it's as simple as that. We're ****ed, basically. They destabilzed the bid from DIC, which Moores could do nothing about, so they could offer the club to them again a couple of years down the line.

They bought us with loans, which are now loaded onto the club, and haven't invested a single penny of their own cash. They will get the stadium build up and running and then offer us to the highest bidder.

Lets just hope DIC or someone else with real money to invest is still interested. With the stadium on the way we should be an even better proposition.
Sorry, but that is bull****. If Rafa goes then it will be because he hasn't been backed by G&H, not because of any football reasons.

You can't expect a manager to be able to compete with teams that splash several times our net budget on new players.

As it stands now then anything else than third behind Man U and Chelsea is a fantastic result just because we are so far behind them in the transfer market.

Back Rafa and he will deliver fantastic players. It's all about what ambition G&H have.

Compete for the title........more than £50m net/season if Rafa need that.

                        Compete for a CL place....around £20m-£30m net/season.

If G&H want us to challenge for the title, keep Rafa and back him.
If G&H want to challenge for a CL place, then Rafa will walk anyway, he won't stay and not be able to challenge, not a chance. That will cost them in the end a lot more than to splash out £50m net a season or two and that is what we need until the youngsters are ready.

                        IMO.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

...and Lawro said that he's heard one or two things and he said that the Yanks will be out the door before Rafa because of the money situation and the clause in the contract to have the money before Feb they simply dont have the money.

Id say they are looking to sell completely and not just get another investor in.

It will be interesting if true as to who would come in for the club surely DIC want their hands on a Prem team.
                            Great if true

You haven't got a clue. You sound exactly like the same sad desperate dickheads trying to save Houllier in his final days, despite the facts telling them other wise.

Just throw more money at it, that will solve the problems...

Well, it works for Man U, Chelsea, Real, Barca, Inter, Lyon, Bayern, Celtic, Rangers and many more clubs in other leagues. The teams that wins and compete for the title.
