There is a fear now with all these clubs getting taken over big big money men that we could find ourselves fighting harder for that top 4 place with City currently on a high and looking for that Champ League spot and clearly having money to spend and the owner isnt tight with his money so we should expect City to sign more players in January

Id say they are looking to sell completely and not just get another investor in.

Yeah we've been merked with these two Yanks but WHY did Moores and Parry after turning many people away that they thought werent good enough to buy Liverpool then choose these two when they knew Gillette couldnt afford to buy the club on his own and needed a partner....shouldnt this of set off alarm bells...??

dont forget mate, were all speculating, in a couple of years time they may well have been one of the best things to happen to this club and invested heavily in us. Doubtful like, and all the pointers seem to state theyve ****ed up big time and jumped in over there heads

As for moores accepting it, im not sure like but I THINK he sort of had to accept because there value of the club (price paid for each share) was so much more than anyone elses itHAD to be accepted because he would have been liable to some sort of ****ting from the shareholders if he knocked them back

Moores had a deadline and I think it was only a month or so left when he sold to G&H.

The deadline was about founds from the city and EU for the new stadium project.

G&H was the only remaining offer on the table so Moores had to sell to them if the club would get the money from the city and EU.

I think that is a point many have missed out on.

Maybe Kenny was approached about it,knowing Tommo I'm sure he have had something to say about it and I doubt Ged's ego would have taken the risk of one of our greatest managers coming back and out shinning him.

He was on the radio in Ireland tonight and the presenter asked him about these rumours with DIC and he said he was just talking to a senior official at the club that is there everyday(knows his stuff) and he said "lets just say im going to start learning Arabic"
