It was a fix to let them have a replay and earn some cash. They will lie down and get spanked at Anfield

They had about the same amount of good chances.

Of course you'd be disappointed - missed a chance for a major scalp - but overall draw is about right. Even the Luton player interviewed said that

The most worrying thing is that some of the players don't look interested anymore.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I'd have been embarrassed to win that.

Their lads don't even get paid ffs yet show more desire.

And yet more baffling substitutions as Babel is taken off.

I had a bad feeling about this game when I woke up so I didn't even bother to trudge up the pub to watch it.

The fact that Gerry Francis's head was shaking even more than usual on his sky sports news updates was enough for me.

Lets get Aldridge in with Kenny. Can we do any worse?

I agree, I think if it wasn't for our recent game against Wigan this wouldn't be such of a big deal.

                      Has Rafa been on yet?

Let's see how close i can get.

"It was a tough game, we worked hard, created chances. When you play in a game like this it is not easy but we created chances and the players knew what we were trying to do and worked hard"

                      Something like that?

i really believe rafa's tinkering is starting to have a negative effect on the players.....another attempt of square pegs and round holes. crouch had 3 striking partners, kuyt on right wing or on at all !!

Apart from not taking Kuyt off, I'm not sure what more Rafa could do. The entire defense were second best to every attack. The midfield were second to every ball. It was a lacklustre performance, but despite that when we got the ball (which wasn't very often ) we passed past them very well at times.

Brill made 2-3 excellent saves as well

How about fining our shower of ****e a weeks wages and donate it to Luton Town. At least they deserve the money. Too many of our lot are gutless freaks who don't like it up em.

                                Embarrassing is spot on.

Really worried about Rafa now, there is a train of thought that a teams personality reflects that of their managers. Today’s team didn't look arsed or organised.

We didn't have the courage or conviction to pass the ball against a third division side. Everything was panicked hoofs, or rushed passes.

Really, really worried. That wasn't just poor, it was embarrassing.

The only positives were the keeper, Crouch scoring and the fact that we earned a replay, somehow.
