not one of those players turned up on that pitch today, not ****ing one of them.
the ammount of tackles they pulled out of especially that utter ginger cunt riise is disgraceful.
each and every one of them wants and needs to be ****ed out of it from a height after that ****e,if they cant be arsed to even try they might as well **** off .
yes some of the substitutions were strange but we had NOBODY on the bench.
as for playing players in position we played 4 4 ****ing 2 what more do you want???
he tried to change things at the end

      I support the club 100%.

If the manager gets the best out of the players, he has my full backing.

      Rafa's underachieving.

We didnt play 4-4-2 for 90 mins. Kuyt was lingering around the wide areas, Voronin too. Benayoun didnt seem to HAVE a position.

As for the players not being up for it, who's job is it to motivate them?

Anyone would think we have lost a lot of games this season, we may have drawn more than we would have wanted but we are still in the CL we are going to finish closer to the top than last season (imo) and we'll **** luton at anfield.
if we ever want to be a great team again we should really stop using everton as our benchmark. doing better than everton should not be our barometer of success.

Might've been alright in the 80s when it was them and us up at the top, but that was 20 years ago.

The most upsetting aspect of todays game is that we played so poorly with what was practically a first choice 11.

We were missing Gerrard, Torres and Reina, but 8 of the 11 players out there have been first choice for large parts of the season.

We looked completely lost without our two best players and no one even came close to stepping up to take on their mantle.

Very, very poor and as has been said already very reminicscent of the Houllier days when we leaned heavily on our two best players to dig us out week after week.

I dont think missing SG and Torres is a major problem if the rest of them actually want it.

They didnt look like they cared today, which is the biggest concern.

I never said we should use them as a benchmark for success, I said we did better than they did.

I'm positive we will start playing better against Boro and **** 'em. We are out of form at the mo, but we haven't been all season like some suggest.

4-4-2 is fine, I just don't think Kuyt fits it....well, I don't know where he fits in at all? He's the weak link.

"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

Funnily enough, looking at the team sheet, I thought if Rafa gives this team free reign we'd rip another ar*ehole in Luton. I've seen this lineup mess up other teams. But the confidence in their own abilities was woefully lacking and Kuyt has become so bad that even his teammates despair when they see his pass/shot/movement.

Poor guy, I feel for Kuyt. He's like the last-pick four-eyes in a school playground who all the good footballers have a moan at when they're playing sh*t as well.

we've had two foreign managers now and for all the good disipline they bring off the field and organisation etc they have both been too negative at heart. mourinho & ericksson are the same. **** em up, break em up.
It's not as laughable an idea as some would make out.

The problem with the 'team' today was that they played like a bunch of strangers. There was no understanding whatsoever. Blame the manager?blame rotation? blame the size of the squad ?

The midfield was total ****e, out worked and out fought and gave the defence no protection. Sami and Carra worked their proverbial bollocks off today but none of the others - with the possible exception of Finnan can say the same.

With better finishing on their behalf they'd have gone thru.
