Why don't they just come out and say they want the manager replaced because that's how it reads to me.

Instead they come out with all this 'I support the manager but he has to change his ways'. What a load of old ****e. If you think he should be changing his ways you clearly don't support him.

Today should have been a formality but we were poor and Luton played well. I've no doubt we'll beat them at Anfield but I see DJS and the gang have the knives sharpened again.

It's amazing how much they seem to revel in us not playing well, eh?

Its frustration, total frustration.

Draws and losses are becoming too frequent and there is no way that Kuyt will ever be the standard we require and the fact that he cost us £10m....we have to sell.

Some of the young lads had stinkers, but this is their first season and it can take a year or so to settle in, C Ronaldo being an example, but Kuyt is just taking up a squad place of someone who could be doing far better at £10m.

This is 3 years down the line now and we look disjointed, predictable and as far from the level we want to be at as ever.

We look much better with Arbeloa in the back 4. Aurelio is a much better player than Riise. For me Arbeloa & Aurelio are now 1st choice (just). I'm not saying Finnan's a problem - But Arbeloa at least has played more often than not this year. Similarly we look better balanced with Arbeloa & Aurelio in the side.

But it's no excuse - we were awful.

I'll be honest, if he was sacked and replaced by a top manager like Hiddink or Lippi I'd live with it.

But I believe he can turn it around by stopping these silly little tactical foibles of his, picking his best players and by allowing us to be more aggressive in attacking intent, especially at home.

But will he?

Since when has it been a problem playing Finnan or Riise at fullback?

Swap Gerrard for Lucas, Torres for Crouch or Kuyt and swap Itandje and Reina and that would be a team playing premiership matches.

We were just ****.

It was shocking at times how poor some of the team were.

These are not second string inexperienced youngsters, this are experienced premiership footballers, seasoned internationals and (in some cases) Champions league finalists.

They were embarassed by a committed display from Luton town.

Only one team looked like a lower league outfit today and it wasn't Luton.

Unless we 'think' it's inferior to Luton, then the squad is as good as we think.

Feck off scott, what else is there to say about that? It was ****e and we're stating facts. I like the way you only name me though, that's unlike you...

As far as Rafa's concerned, if you think we 'revel' in ****e performances, then you're being a fool. Ultimately though, it's a results business and no matter how much we love Rafa as a man and a character, he ISNT getting the results. Sticking your head in the sand doesnt change the facts.
