I hate to say this to you, but I really hope you are wrong mate.
I may be in a minority now but I really hope he stays. I think aalot depends on the new signing he brings in, if he is given a chance.
I know some will say, he has been given a chance. I also think he has done a great job building the squad. It is obvious some have to go. The workhorses are not working out like Kuyt and Voronin to name a couple.
Top quality is what is required now to make his system work, can Rafa bring it and wil he get the time are the real question I think.

I think Rafa needs to win a cup and finish in the top 4 to stop the tide from turning against him.

I Can see Rafa selling 2 of Crouch, Kuyt & Voronin. Crouch + 1 to riase some cash this window. Selling Kuyt part-ex to get Huntelaar or Alfonso Alves looks best bet so far. He's got to still have some stock left in Holland surely. We desperately, desperately need another natural goalscorer in the squad.

his staff is much changed, maybe losing the two paco's has exposed him a bit? from what i've read they were a big part of what made team benitez so successful

Some things that I think that Rafa must do or at least consider to do.

Sell off the not good enough players.

Give the players a chance to be undroppable. If they play a good game then they must start the next game whatever team we play against. You get less motivated players if you don't give the players a fair chance. That is what has happened now.

Play the players in their best position.
