Has Rafa lost the support of the players & bootroom staff?

the reason i'm asking this question is for two reasons. Firstly when he had his rather public spat with the owners & the maureen rumours started none of the players apart from Torres (possibly a few others) supported him publicly in the press.

Secondly, going as far back as to the reading game the players have shown a lack of commitment to the team since. i have never ever fallen asleep during a liverpol game on telly but i am ashamed to say i fell asleep during the first half against Luton yesterday. i dont know whether the players were over confident but we have seriously lacked commitment & passion for a while. we should be beating teams like Wigan & Luton easily and not getting draws.

i think its wrong to blame individual players and make scapegoats of players like Kuyt & Riise because i believe their is a serious problem throughout the team. i'm starting to question if the players believe in Rafa and his tactics anymore.

    What do you guys think?

We should support and let Rafa do his job. **** everything else. It's by showing unity and belief that we'll be out of this hole.

I think it's a possibility. Rafa and Carra have kept very silent on this. Now they may have been instructed to but they may also realise that they are no nearer to winning a title and they are coming to the back end of their careers. I'm just playing devils advocate here.
              Dare we believe

you fell asleep and questioned the players commitment during the games I mentioned then?

All that's clear is that all is not well. It's impossible to tell from here whether Rafa has lost the support of the players (which I think on its own is unlikely) or they're demotivated because they (pretty much) know he's leaving, one way or the other.

The Guardian keeps harping on about how he's angling to be sacked so he can get his McClaren-style payoff.

I'm so pissed off about all this.
                            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Playing well or not, that seems a tad strange to me. Thats what I think!
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
