I don't think the issue is as regards to the team mate. It's about something else ... Rafa isn't one to shut it and that's why they would want to get rid. If they go the results route, they won't have a case against him. My 2 cents.

It would be funny though to see the reaction on here if we did sign Mascherano this transfer window.
Would be delighted if things are resolved and put to bed once and for all. I can't see it though.

Bookies make loads of mistakes, they know just as much as us.

He's never managed a club side. He's been involved in coaching in America but never been a manager.

The bookies are usually right but not always, and one area where they have a particularly bad record is managerial appointments. look at the England job, morinho was odds on at one point. All this doesn't mean Klinsman isn't coming but it doesn't mean he is either.

The trouble with the yanks is Klinsmann is just the sort of manager they may go for. Lets face it , if rafa goes then its for off the field not on the field reasons. Reports have said Gillet knows klinsman so they may feel he will be more easy to control. Also they may not consider his lack of club experience a problem.

Finally the likely signing of the slovakian CB doesn't mean Rafa is being backed. G&H know we must qualify for next season's CL and if Agger is out long term we must have a replacement or 4th place will be a real struggle.

                      According to Dave Usher:

Klinsmann is already on payroll as Gillette's soccer advidor

He becomes more like Dunk by the hour.

I can see it happening, and especially with the rumours hotting up that Sissoko is on his way it wouldn't surprise me. It would be a massive boost signing him and I'm pretty confident he'll sign this month.

Maybe people should let the Yanks and the board get on with their job instead of slating them every two seconds, it's getting ridiciolous now. Yes, they went back on their word about the stadium but they've given us Torres, we've got this Slovakian lad coming in and it looks like they're backing Rafa which is the most important thing.

Let's just see how the season pans out before slagging them off every two minutes for a change.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Means **** all. If theres an article tomorrow saying Ian Dowie is our new manager he'll go the bookies favourite, they react to speculation on new manager markets.

                                4/7.

Which means the bookies seem to think he`s staying.
