He had been out injured with a bad knee when he arrived. Hadn't played for 6 months when he came.

Hopefully this story is wrong. We've missed the lad but we have to make sure he returns fit and well and isn't rushed back. If he misses the rest of the season but is fine for next and stays injury free it'll be worthwhile.

Worst thing we could do is what Newcastle do and damage players further by rushing them back.

if the new guy is a replacement for agger, is there not a kind of time lapse while new defenders learn the zonal marking system? i have no idea what this means - i just remember someone else talking about in on another thread ages ago. you can't just slot in and mark your guy - you could **** it up totlally if you don't knw what you're doing... anyone actually know anything about this?

I'm not 100% positive but I'm sure he was injured for a fair bit when he first joined. He's missed more games than he's played imo which isn't good for one so young.
