Rafa said he's not going anywhere, but why keep him?
No small toffees for feast tonight
    Kopites party with tyrkish delight
    José, Sir Alex... London press
    All choking on sweet success
Money, not love, is your drive
    But tell us...
    Can you count to five?

I know Crouch hasn't played much this season but I can't remember the last time I saw him play well.

The good thing about moaning about Rafa not selecting a player for the squad is that you can't be proved wrong.
        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Crouchy's downturn in form I think stems from Athens. Going with Kuyt ahead of him for that game was such a cruel and ill-conceived selection that I don't think he's been the same player since.

I think you're in danger of reading far too much into it. Could it be you want to blame Rafa for Crouch's poor form for the last eight months?

Ye might be right. I do think he's been handled poorly by Rafa and not just Athens, before that. In fact some of our formations and team selections at the start of last season, when Crouchy got dropped following the derby, are what prompted me to say on Koptalk that I didn't think Rafa was the man for the league.

I was in the vast minority then but here we are, about 15 months later, and we've got a bucketload of fans questioning if Rafa is the man for the job after a string of dismal performances and a hugely inconsistent season after spending big in the Summer.
