Very true, I guess im so used to him doing just that. My personal opinion is that him and Mascher do not work as well as some think. Xabi, Mascher middle. Gerrard on the right, we have not got the players to play any other way.

If you do that, you have zero attacking threat from CM.

Voronin and Riise are a disgrace to this club after that first half. If Rafa does'nt take at least one of them off I really will lose all faith in him. We offered nothing in that half. Has anyone ever seen so little movement off the ball in all their lives? It truly is abysmal, but its been that way for ages now. No-one can seem to move without the ball!!

Agree with you that the buck stops with Rafa. He picks the team and during the game he is responsible for reacting to what he see's i.e Voronin and Riise playing like donkeys so take them off at halftime. Rafa sometimes you have to break your own rules, put down the tactics handbook and use your gut instinct!!
