I know we drew with Man City but the team performed 10 times better than they did today.

Do you think the players know something we don't?
I guess we'll find out in the next 3 weeks or so. If we don't sign anymore players then I'm pretty sure Rafa will be gone at the end of the season and if we finish 4th or 5th then he should walk himself.

Babel is looking very very good as well.

      NEEDS TO START UP FRONT

How hard is it for the scouting system to know which is the better player? I am more than sure Berbatov would have signed for us if we put the money on the table.

I mean attacking players, sorry if I forgot to make that clear.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I think Rafa has a 'thing' about persisting with his new signings that don't perform.

His philosophy is obviously one of ok I'll play him till he starts producing and then I'll bench his over performing ass.

TBH, if he was sacked, i wouldn't give a **** (Rafa)
really ? you could care less if we fired our manager ?

I think Crouch and Torres would be great together.

I thought Torres scored against Wigan! oops!

FFS why bring Kuyt on and put him left wing when Babel was having some success over there? Lets negate the only half decent attacking option we have.

Riisse and Voronin need ****ing off right now.

                  Babel should be starting.

Rafa is in trouble and he is causing it himself.
Putting Kuyt on the left and moving Babel, who was doing well like you said, into the centre against a team that sat back was a poor decision imo.

Not if we could get one of the other top managers, no. Now that doesn't mean I want him gone, I just don't think I'd be overly bothered. I'm getting abit fed up TBH.

But Kuyt can't score. Babel might.

We always seem look for the cheap option and always did in previous seasons

Dont buy Vidic buy Agger(I think Agger is a good player im just making a point)

                        Dont buy Etooooooo buy Diouf

Usually you'd say 'good away point', but not off the back of our result results.
Not against this Boro team you wouldn't. They're woeful. And they're managed by a buffoon. And they began the season by selling their best players. Only a win would be a good result away there today to be fair.

Alun - I've said it before, teams are very hard to beat at home. It's very rare that any side in the premiership ends the season with a win record much above 50%

We could live with draws today if we'd won our pish easy home games.

Yes, but Babel needs space to run into. There was no such space in the centre imo...and he was doing well on the wing. Kuyt is also a striker, so best use him there. Thats how I saw it anyway.
