Voronin must be one of the worst players in modern times to ever pull on the liverpool jersey. I do not for the life of me understand why he gets picked. V is right - this is an absolute disgrace and benitez has to go.

I have given him unequivocal support over the past 3 seasons but its clear that the side has not progressed and and our style of play is as piss poor as it ever was under Houllier.

We should be blowing boro and sides like them away but instead we are struggling to put 2 passes together.

Can someone explain how a team like LFC can have such a gulf in class between their strikers?

This is a serious question, not a "knee-jerk" reaction. Is there something seriously wrong with our scouting department? How often do they send scouts out to look at these players? I mean, I saw a lot of Ukranian games and even Bayer Leverkusen games and you didn't need to be a genius to work out that Voronin was not an LFC standard player, yet the reports come in that we have him on a pre-contract agreement. When I heard that at first (from a mate), I thought he was taking the piss. I didn't even bat an eyelid as I didn't even contemplate that he was serious.

Anyone familiar with our scouting staff and what they do exactly? Or is it Rafa just making stupid signings without much homework?

I'm truly discombobulated as to why, year in, year out, we bring in another batch of silly sausages
