I thought we were still just about in with a chance ahead of today's game but that it would take a monumental effort - starting with a victory today. When you look at the fixtures there were enough games to claw it back, the Top 3 have to play each other and we have to visit them too, but it was just about doable.

But if Utd win today I think it's gone.

It's frustrating because had we picked up just a few more points in games we really should have won and deserved to do so (Wigan, City), we would have been well up there.

Realistically and mentally and not wearing rose tainted glasses- we are well off the top teams. We need them to lose four games and we need to win all of our games from now till the end of the season. I think we will struggle getting a Champions League spot.

LFC fans shouldn't give up the title until it's over.

It would take an almost unprecedented run of results which would take a revolution in performances and approach to the game from where we are today.

Yeah, those two as well. You could say we really didn't deserve to lose against the mancs too... I just gave a couple of examples.

That's 9 points right there. I know this is a weak "what if" argument but finishing chances when playing well has cost us more than anything this season.
