even if it was mathematically impossible id still keep going hoping there was a scandal at the top and they got points deducted.

I was just thinking I am exactly the same. Everytime we get knocked out of cup competitions I always hope I will wake up the next morning to find out that the opposition played an illegal player and that the game has to be replayed or we get a bye into the next round.

If we were 2nd and 12 points behind the arse I'd still have hope but expecting the 3 teams above us to choke is unrealistic. The Arse and United are in fantastic form this season. I think we can overtake the Chavvies and possibly even one of the others to finish 2nd but there's no hope of the title. 2nd place should be prioritised now and avoiding CL qualification.

I'm one of Raffa's biggest backers on this site but he's frustrating me too with a lot of his decisions. Surely a man who understands football to the degree he does can come to the same conclusions as we do when watching players. He must know that the likes of Voronin, Kuyt, Riise and Sissoko etc are **** so it frustrating he choses them, and even more frustating that he doesn't sub them.

But no way am I going to ask for him to be sacked or even consider replacements, especially cunts like Maureen.

He's our manager. A very good manager. He needs backing from us and even more from he club and owners!

I'm convinced that things wouldn't be so bad if we weren't going through so much **** as a club at the moment.

We're 12 points behind and we're going to need to start winning games on the bounce whilst Manu, Arsenal and Chelsea start losing or drawing games on the bounce. It won't happen.

We need Manu or Arsenal to lose 4 of their remaining 16 games. This is normally the amount of games they'll lose over an entire season not 40% of the season.

The only thing we're playing for now is CL qualification.
