The player who we have heard good things about yet failed to see them. Makes sense that.
**** off cock breath. I was merely putting out an idea for discussion. That's what a forum is about.

Had you thought of the psychological side of things? Sending a message to Gerrard as well as the other players? The Henry effect?

It's not like we are Accrington Stanley with Zidane in the team. We have other high quality players too.

        brilliant

His breath is a bit cheesy now you mention it.

"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

He must be ****ting it with DIC back in the frame. That cunt knows how good he's got it with the yanks and you can bet your life he will be moving heaven and earth to keep them in ownership coz if DIC did come in, he'd be straight out!

Diego or Aguero would do me. We need some quick feet and driving play to bring the game to the opposition. That's what Gerrard is supposed to do but we are not seeing it until the 80th minute.

What the hell is wrong with Gerrard?

                Great idea.

Lets get rid of our captain, one of only two goal threats in the team and the guy thats got us out of **** a million times and won us trophies on his own and replace him with an unproven player in the Premier League.

Maybe it's got something to do with him playing too ****in deep?

You can see why Torres left Atletico - Too much expectation on one player.

Gerrard was one of our better players against Boro, there was only him, Babel and Torres who looked like doing anything. I can understand peoples frustration as Gerrard has raised the bar to such a high level, but people have to remember he is our second highest goalscorer, and I don't know the assists table but my guess is he is in our top three for that.

His problem is he is surrounded by players who are playing way below their levels. And when some of those players aren't that great in the first place, that's when we start to struggle.

A below par Stevie is still our second best player behind Torres. An on form Stevie is far and away our best player.

Dropping Stevie would be a huge mistake, he's the captain after all and the heartbeat of the team. Other players have to share the load when he's not at his best.

We're all in a ****ty mood because we expect better from Liverpool, Rafa and Gerrard and the team.

We can't be world beaters every match but more often than this would be nice!

You could see him tearing his out today, particularly with the woeful Voronin.

Dropping Gerrard isn't the answer IMO.

Also, if Lucas is gonna replace anyone then it's got to be Xabi. **** me, what the hell has happened to him? He's been so sloppy lately and his form for the best part of 18 months has been poor. He doesn't look the same player any more.

i agree completely with what you have posted.......big pity cos i had originally thought that xabi was going to be a LEGEND for LFC but there is definately something wrong with him.......

and he's not the only one... Riise is gone too....in rafa's 1st season he was class.... the list goes on though of players that are ****ed one way or another....

its a disaster..... a year ago we were one world class striker short of being a world class team. We get the striker then a lot of the existing players go to ****e....

As far as Gerrard is concerned, i dont know about anybody else but im getting a little bit sick and tired of him skulking around like a petulant child when things arent going his way. Talented player of course but lets himself and the team down badly when he acts like that.

Hes not a captain, never has been, it should be and should always have been Carra.
I sometimes wonder if Alonso as captain might have been the making of him as well.
If you've lost your faith in love and music the end won't be long

He is a class act and I´d imagine he would link up brilliantly with Torres. Does he score enough goals to warrant playing him in the hole with Torres up front though?

When I was advocating possibly selling Alonso (in Shaggys thread) to raish cash it was so we could afford to bid for someone like Diego as we need someone with his flair and creativity so, so badly.
