One question, although perhaps this should be directed at John_Gotti, if Gillett is firmly in the Rafa camp, what was he doing at a meeting trying to convince Klinsmann to be the next manager (Hicks has said GG was in attendance)? If Hicks is going on about a communication breakdown with Rafa, why were they wasting time courting other managers when that time could have been better utilised opening communication channels with Rafa and resolving the differences? I fear that the agenda to boot Rafa out was there long before the November fall-out, possibly going as far back as Rafa's outburst the day after Athens.Originally posted by Pacman View PostRumour has it that Moores, Parry

Maybe there was a difference in opinion that extended to whether it was an 'insurance' option as Hicks has said or a real alternative to Rafa whatever happened. It would actually tie in a lot of the conflicting time lines (although it is no more credible and every bit as speculative as all the other theories).Originally posted by Dhavlos View PostOne question, although perhaps this should be directed at John_Gotti, if Gillett is firmly in the Rafa camp, what was he doing at a meeting trying to convince Klinsmann to be the next manager (Hicks has said GG was in attendance)? There is definitely a difference in approach between the two. I think whatever happens we need to stop Hicks going to the press."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."
