        I never said I wanted him, I just don't subscribe to the hysteria that he'd be such a bad choice. An experienced, successful manager could quite easily also fail.

        Benitez won titles before he arrived here but is still struggling to get to grips with things domestically after 4 seasons.

                    Don't know what Tom Hick is trying to achieve with his comments...

                    Is he trying to tell Rafa that he's not untouchable?
                    Is he trying to come across as a straight honest talker?
                    Is he just absolutely clueless on how 'soccer' works as compared to his other franchise sports?

                    Either way, it's not helped the club at all. I'd be shocked if Rafa was still in charge come next season.

Hicks & Gillett got cold feet with the reaction we gave them over how they treated Rafa and Kilnsmann proabably **** his kecks because he would have faced a impossible task 'replacing' Rafa in those circumstances.

                            For all those who didn't realise at the time, realise now Rafa is fighting for control of this club for us. Respect this man and show him every ounce you have because in normal circumstances he would have walked. Its US v's THEM. Lets get our club back and let Rafa make us great again! We cant give up, infight, bicker between ourselves or show any weakness. Forget the charge for trophy's this season, because the biggest one up for grabs this year is OUR club!

                                Right so let's get rid of the yanks.

                                But what then?

                                We'll just end up with another set of business men who'll milk the club for all the profit they can.

                                Time to face facts, that's what LFC is now to any potential investor.

                                It's amazing if this ****ing silly speculation re Rafa hadn't come about would we even be having these threads. Or would the glory hunter still be moaning about the net spend every second day?
