Bearing in mind the new TV money was payable this season and they have still loaned money for Torres and Babel begs the question where has the TV money gone, particularly after the CL run

I personally think we will have a drastically reduced transfer budget

I might be wrong but I think you will see £10-15 million NETT MAX
The new TV deal is for this season, therefore will not be payable until the end of the season as they will need to factor in league position at the end of the season. Think payment is supposed to be around June time.

Lecter - get that to the papers lad.

That explains perfectly the questions the journo's need to be asking.

Sky TV money is paid throughout the season if I remember rightly there is no single payment

In that case the figures scare the **** out of me as there appears to be a big black hole.
Can't be all of it as the club that finishes top gets £50m and the bottom one £30m, there has to be a bonus of between £0 and £20m at the end of the season for where you finish.

That sums it up. They will go

It does give you renewed optimism that this may be going pear shaped in the background (although I can't see that happening tbh).

I've read on the Echo page just now that they're having difficulties tying the deal up, think it may be done tommorow or next Monday now. I think if it's not done by Monday then they're having serious problems getting the finance sorted.

Hopefully it will all go wrong for them.

Yeah, fingers crossed. Although if DIC were not interested you'd expect them declare themselves out by now.

I think the longer this goes on the better. No news really is good news in this respect. Even if he does cobble toghether a package I don't think it's over by a long shot.

They know they are hated, but by doing this they will show that they are behind the manager and hope to soften the blow a tad.
Could be, but did someone not say Rafa had been TOLD....Momo go's to pay for Skirtle.

If the summer signings ~£20m net were funded by the loans and we had ~£25m Champions league revenue and the extra TV money there is this season there are some serious questions the owners should be answering Like What has happened to this money??
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
