To be fair to Rashid, wether he is telling the truth and does actually know something or not. He has been trying his best lately for a cause that will benefit us all, he atleast deserves some respect for that.

i hope DIC do take over, not because i have any particular faith in them but because its really a case of anyone but G&H.

If DIC do take over, people shouldn't get carried away as they did with the Yanks. I don't think there will be countless millions to spend for Rafa, thats if Rafa is kept on. DIC are still in it for the cash, every bit as much as G&H are.

I never wanted them in but on here, most people were made up when they bought us.

People were putting dream 11's together with the players G&H would buy. Many said they were winners who knew the sports industy inside out. The Yanks won't settle for 2nd best etc.

My point is that now many on here are saying exactly the same sort of things of DIC, in that if they do buy us, everything we suddenly be 100% at LFC at no.19 is a mere formailty.

I am sure i read around DIC withdrew their bid last year that even if they changed their mind they would have to wait a few months for bidding again?

This is a guess but I think the fact that DIC withdrew their offer prohibited them from bidding again for 6 months.

well they did promise a lot to be fair, snoop etc, they (the banks) are the ones that delivered, not g & h

they promised us a stadium to make us really proud, got us all excited and let us down.

they promised us someone on the ground, nearly a year later, foster moves over (to london)

they promised purchases of quality, which we got (torres), but they have not shelved out a penny, we will be paying for torres for many years to come and he could end up costing 40m over time (if we are not bought)

they are no more lovers of soccer than the man in the moon, all they see is a worldwide sporting franchise

basically, we know a hell of a lot more now than we did back then

i see what you saying regarding number 19,
it doesnt guarantee anything , but surely it has to be better for the club than the current regime

The difference is that DIC look at their hole brand(DIC) to make a profit out of us. That could mean that the club(LFC) will make a loss, say for example £100m/year but the brand DIC will make make a bigger profit than that because of the goodwill they get as owners of a top class club.

Just because the club makes a loss don't mean that the brand DIC will do it.

IMO.
