Meaning that they haven't put a single penny of their own money into the club. All they've managed to do is raise a short term loan out of which they have taken back the original security. What a pair.

its hard to see how these foreign owners can make any decent money from premiership football.

It was reported recently that manu utd made a profit of £60m last season but they were faced with interest payments on their loans of £69m. I have a feeling that Ronaldo will be sold this summer to the highest bidder to cover the £60m or so that they have spend last summer. Somewhere down the line the books have to be balanced.

It will be the same scenario with liverpool - im not sure what our operating profit was for last season but it was reported as being around £10-15m. Even with the new TV deals coming into play where every club makes approx £30m more - there will be very little left over after the £30m interest is paid every year.

Rafa will have in the region of £15 to spend every summer to keep us in the top 4. Everton spent more than that this season and so did Man City, and im sure Villa will looking to add a few more players next season.

We will be royally ****ed until 2011 when the new stadium will be finished. Until the new stadium comes into play we cannot hope to make any profit at all and we might well be out of the champions league in the face of the new money coming into other clubs. No champions league means even less revenue towards transfers. This in turn may mean that certain star players have to be sold on to raise further money.

The figures dont add up Tom and George.

Your own figures show how you make money from premiership footy. The profits are enough to cover the debt taken on to buy the club and finance the stadium. So they sit tight and in a few years time they own the club outright, which they think will be worth £1bn by then, without having put in a penny themselves. It's easy money. Because they are not putting in any cash themselves, there will be a couple of very tight years while the stadium is being built though, as Arsenal had while they were building the Emirates. Once the stadium is up and running, and sold out, the money will start pouring in.

I reckon it will come down to who has the biggest set of balls. We know DIC are masters of negotiation and Hicks is a thick ignorant texan cunt so the brinksmanship between the two will be telling however I get the impression that Gillette might be the one to fold.

Sorry but G&H will never put any big money into the club. That is not their style. They will take the profits and use it on other things. The club won't benefit from that at all.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

DIC should concentrate on buying out Gillett - once he is in their hands there is no way Hicks would want to be in partnership with DIC, so his hand will be forced IMO.

I don't care what anyone says, until proven otherwise, Gillett is just as bad as his partner in crime. Difference is, he doesn't have the balls to come out fighting in the press like Hicks.

The loan would never have a chance to go through if he wasn't in Hicks corner.

Doesn't the re-finance have to be approved by a majority of the board members? Could this not hold it up then, if there was opposition from the board (Parry/Moores) or do the two cunts have enough of their own people on the board to push it through?

Voting board is Gillett, Gillett jnr, Hicks, Hicks Jnr and Coco. They have enough on there to force it through by a long way.

Gillett is as bad as Hicks. The difference is that Gillett knows how to use the media.
