With these guys in charge I don't think the stadium will ever be built. We must be missing something because looking at that you can not see them ever making profit and a Leeds scenario looks likely. My only concern is that I think they will play hard ball with DIC which will then cause them to walk.
I can't believe some papers are saying part of the problem is that G&H view the value of the club now as being that of when the stadium is built, how does that work?

Hello? Then either they will have to invest their own money to carry the club until the stadium is in place or they will sell all or a stake of the shares to bring in capital. One way or they other this will be taken care of. Surely they have looked at the numbers Tom

          H&G aren't going anywhere.

          It's as simple as that.

BBC sports editor Mihir Bose told BBC Radio Five Live: "Tom Hicks is right to say he hasn't rejected an offer from DIC because I am told they haven't made one yet.

"However, I understand that DIC are prepared to pay about £400m for Liverpool."

That's a number that we can all believe. Let's hope that is enough!

I think if DIC stretch it to £450m then Hicks will sell.

                    I saw that.

This is all a game by Hicks.

He will sell, but squeeze out what he can first.

                      Don't wont overpay mate.

They will have set themselves a max bid and will not go a penny over.

Sadly for us, i doubt it will be enough

They certainly won't be giving this dullard more money than he's worth. He should walk out with his tail between his legs.

So somehow we have to find a minimum of 120 million in interest payments BEFORE we even start to see any profit from the stadium. Very sobering. Where is this 120 million going to come from?

TV money, gate receipts from old anfield, champions league money. Traditionally all the revenue sources we rely on for player signings.

Given this, can someone please point out how we are supposed to buy new players?

Make no mistake, if Hicks and his lackey Gillette stay, we're screwed big style.
Unless they fund the purchases themselves out of their own pocket

(I don't believe they will for a minute, just saying...)

Chill out. Americans are big talkers but with no substance (no offense to yanks in here ). I expect them to sell sooner rather than later. DIC won't be made fools for a second time.

Mihir Bose was in Gillet's camp right throughout the last campaign. This is G&H using the press to negotiate. I suspect we are nearing the end game in this.

                              My prediction is

THEY WILL SELL FOR ABOUT 350M pounds (maybe 375M)

                              :bird: Hicksy
