They are a bit misleading those filings at companies house - it's only taken them a year to get around to letting them know!

In the interests of absolute accuracy there is a chance that he resigned on the 15 January 2008 - but we wouldn't know it from Companies House until December!

      Ah, fair enough.

Daily Mail says the refinancing will be done tomorrow.

I'm no expert in this stuff but what good does it do us if £190m is being put on Kop Holdings books? Will G&H take dividends out of the club to pay the interest or is the club not liable for those payments?

If Foster and Hicks are liable for these payments then we are liable for them seeing as they own us. If we have to pay 30mil a year then they will pay for it out of our revenue - that is the business model, surely. As long as they own us then we will be the ones paying it.

It will be Kop Joldings responsibility, but where do you think they will look first? The banks don't mind so long as it's paid.

I guarantee they will spin this as reducing costs to both parties and rather than them having one chunk to deal with, by spreading out they can manage it in our best interests.

Dein's Dubai link to Anfield suitors

Former Arsenal and FA power-broker David Dein has been linked with a behind-the-scenes involvement in Dubai International Capital's renewed attempts to buy Liverpool from beleaguered American owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett.

The claims coming out of Dubai follow Dein stopping off in the United Arab Emirates capital for talks on his way back from a Christmas holiday in the Maldives.

In all likelihood he faces the longest of waits to return to the Arsenal boardroom, where a hostile set of directors have a lockdown agreement not to sell shares.

Dein, who was an Arsenal director when they agreed their massive stadium sponsorship deal with Emirates, has plenty of contacts in the UAE, including DIC personnel.

But Dein, chairman of Russian tycoon Alisher Usmanov's Red & White holdings vehicle who are looking to increase their 23 per cent stake in Arsenal, has pledged his lifelong support to the Gunners.

Since his acrimonious split with the board last April, he has turned down all offers to work for other clubs, including Barcelona, so any talks with DIC connections would only be on an advisory basis.

Meanwhile, mystery surrounds the future of Foster Gillett, the son of Liverpool co-owner George, who was employed to provide a direct link between boss Rafa Benitez and the owners.

Foster has not been seen around Anfield for a fortnight, with suggestions from inside the club that he 'hasn't cut the mustard' and 'was enjoying himself too much'. However, the club insisted yesterday that Foster and wife Lauren had already bought a house in Liverpool and were purely in the United States on a short break.

Foster leaving Melwood is 100% correct. You lot should know better than to attack Dave, he outed these two cunts one year ago.

Lets try for 200 although I'm afraid I may go completely insane before that comes anywhere close. On a serious note I have not slept properly since all this nonsense started.I keep dreaming of putting out a contract on Hicks. The alternative dream is me shooting him personally. Obviously this is a non runner as-I don't have a gun-I can't shoot-he lives in Texas and Easyjet don't currently fly there from Liverpool-I'm not that stupid. Any volunteers for this task?

I offer you a £30 charity bet - ON EACH POINT - that on sat august 9th 2008, rafa is still our manager, mascher is still our player and lfc still exists as a football club
Who would bet against a future set of possibilites like that given the variables around the current ownership situation. A cheap shot from you enema, you're better than that. We are not ****ed. Don't worry lads, the American's cannot stay for long. They are in a **** situation, they don't even have the money to back themselves up. DIC won't go away this time round.

Well, It does actually because the minute DIC walk then we're done in for a long, long time. With DIC still hovering at the table then at least there's a straw to cling to.
