I take a different view.

For once, we have an opportunity to use the press to our advantage. Is it the Liverpool Way? Is it ****. But this is survival mode.

On reflection, I think you are all right that it probably isn't a good idea to give The Echo direct quotes. But I still think there is information contained within this thread that could be spun in our favour and would apply further pressure to the Hicks camp.

Would it involve publishing another non-football related LFC report? Unfortunately yes. But I doubt we've seen the last of those for a while anyway.

I just hate seeing us dragged through town by carthorses every day in the press. I think it will make no difference to the high financiers like G&H, DIC or any of the rest of their ilk, but it will affect the club as a whole.
The thing that really makes me puke is every half-arse journalist who gets paid for ****e headlines based on our misery and a fair proportion of them enjoy every minute of it.

The way I see it. In a perfect world some rich cunt would die and leave 10 billion quid to David Moores. But it aint gonna happen.

It seems to me that Bradley did indeed reply direct to Coops, then the PR agency got involved and started sending sweet sounding emails to people, trying to win our hearts and minds over the 'net. But not one of them emails comes clean and answers any of our most concerning questions, nor do they explain why they have backtracked on the promises they made. All bull. They must think we are thick. They are doing what politicians do so well and just swerving round the questions put to them.

Like i said, delegated access to these public email inboxs almost certainly exists therefore it IS possible for this to happen.

I'm uneasy about it too.

But the press have already printed that we have bombarded the Hicks' with angry emails - I am not sure the fact that a number of them were abusive is either surprising or newsworthy. But the fact that a number of the replies were certainly is, especially following the recent revelation that the Hicks' are "sick and tired" of the club.

This would hurt them more than us but it is more dirty laundry that may ultimately have no effect on the outcome.
