Liverpool director Tom Hicks Jr accused of sending abusive email to fan

Liverpool have launched an investigation into claims by a fan that he was sent abusive emails by Tom Hicks Jr, a director at Anfield.

The supporter alleges that Hicks Jr, son of the co-owner Tom Hicks, called him an "idiot" and then, in a separate email, told him: "Blow me **** face. Go to hell. I'm sick of you."

The fan alleges that he was sent the emails after forwarding to Hicks Jr an article from the Liverpool Echo which related to the debts at Anfield.

The second email from Hicks Jr is said to have been copied to Ian Ayre and Philip Nash, the club's commercial and financial directors, although club sources are reported to have said that they never received the correspondence.

The Sunday Telegraph claim that sources close to Hicks Jr said he regretted the incident and had apologised to the fan for the inappropriate language used in the email.

I'm assuming this can't be in relation to what coops originally posted on here - must be something more recent?

Coops is a nutter though, I'd say Hick Jr's comments probably reasonable

He does seem to have got better at insulting people in the last couple of years, "****face" is definitely a step up from "d-bag"

I guess he's probably had an interesting education in more florid language from some of our lot.

This is absolute bull**** from the Americans. Now I am really worried, if these clowns are in charge of our club ANYTHING is possible.

I have held back for quite a bit ever since the Klinsman debacle willing to give them the benefit of the doubt hoping that these cowboys would come good after undermining Rafa but when you see this type of thing from clueless morons I wonder how the hell they managed to accumulate the mass fortunes they have over the years.
                                The facts are clear
These creatures do not care about liverpool fans, liverpool players, the Liverpool manager, the Liverpool stadium, Liverpool the city in fact they could **** on the whole Liverpool way and not blink an eye lid. All they want is MONEY.

These people are very, very dangerous and this may seem like an over reaction to a simple email but after feeling physically sick at the site of that Prince from who gives a **** anyway trolling around our stadium given the red carpet treatment all for Gillets PR this is the final straw for me.

Something has to be done quick. Before these vermin actually get a chance to hire a manager on the back of sacking Rafa and blaming him for having to sell top players, mark my words it will happen.

If we finish outside the top four we are ****ed. These guys will panic and we could lose Torres for 50 million in the Summer very easily. I wouldn't put it past them to sell half the first eleven tbh.

Ayres is the voice of the club at the moment and the fans deserve answers, what is the blue print going forward here. We are a business so I want to know what the strategy is and what affect finishing outside of the Champions league places will have on our club.

There must be a way to get these out of the club, what affect would an empty stadium and picketing the shops have on them I wonder, that may not be the answer but drastic action needs to be taken imo.
