I see this being a very tough game, huh, like every game aint a tough one these days, anyway i digress, Villa are proving to be more consistent this season, & may have Defoe in soon although Fred's on hold now i believe, or off. But if we can keep Agbon-etc & Ashley Young quiet we should be fine. Hope Crouchie has been keeping our defenders on their toes in training in preperation for Carew, will Crouch be marking him at corners i wonder, if he plays of course. I pray we get the result with all my...er.. prayieness?. It will do confidence no harm at all to beat O'neil's upstart's. Villa are a dangerous side away from home because of the pace they have to hit you on the break. I mean this is a team that has recorded results this season like:

4-4 Spurs
4-4 Chelsea

And a run of three results in November that were 2-1, 3-0 and 4-0 against Birmingham, Boro and Blackburn, all away, two of those matches we having drawn looking impotent for most of the game. Their away record is almost as good as our home record, having conceded more but scored the same and having the same number of points.

We'll have to defend the set pieces really well because they seem to be scoring from those a lot lately.
