I see this being a very tough game, huh, like every game aint a tough one these days, anyway i digress, Villa are proving to be more consistent this season, & may have Defoe in soon although Fred's on hold now i believe, or off. But if we can keep Agbon-etc & Ashley Young quiet we should be fine. Hope Crouchie has been keeping our defenders on their toes in training in preperation for Carew, will Crouch be marking him at corners i wonder, if he plays of course. I pray we get the result with all my...er.. prayieness?. It will do confidence no harm at all to beat O'neil's upstart's. Rumour's now on Rad that Keegan going for Deco, Money no object they say, Ahhhh, we can only wish for such circumstances ourselves. Never mind, We'll get there, One day, One day. Soon?.

Villa are a dangerous side away from home because of the pace they have to hit you on the break. I mean this is a team that has recorded results this season like:

              4-4 Spurs
              4-4 Chelsea

And a run of three results in November that were 2-1, 3-0 and 4-0 against Birmingham, Boro and Blackburn, all away, two of those matches we having drawn looking impotent for most of the game. Their away record is almost as good as our home record, having conceded more but scored the same and having the same number of points.

We'll have to defend the set pieces really well because they seem to be scoring from those a lot lately.

They've also scored 20 goals from set pieces this season. Jamie and Sami will need to be stickin' the head in big time.
You can agree with me, or you can be wrong.

Argh I haaaaate not having a 3pm KO on a Saturday

Anyway back to the game... will be a tough one. MON has done very well this season for Villa, they're confident and have a pacy young team that play good football.

                  I think we'll scrape it 2-1

We need 3 pts now that the Scum & Chavski have just spawned their way to another 3 pts and that Arsenal turned Fulham over as expected.

Colin we needed 3pts anyway. Villa, Citeh, and Everton are on our tails. The to two are miles away. We need to consolidate 4th at the moment.

Nah - we need to push on for the title with the £500m we're going to spend before the Transfer Window shuts, once the takeover goes through in the next week ()

Utd & the Chavs weren't far away from dropping points today. Shame - we could have done with another little boost.

I'm ****ing sick of all this bollocks speculation which changes every hour.

I hope the protests are loud and proud and are not too much of a distraction for the players tonight.

3 points are an absolute must and Villa will not make it easy.
