Sounds like Skrtle will play, been training alongside Carra this week.
      We come not to play.

That would be unlike Villa. They always attack, I think you'll see a lot of counter-attacking from them. The full backs will be key for us today.

Skrtle is supposed to be tall and quick isn't he? Which I guess means his pace gives him the edge over Sami. I would have thought Skrtle would have been introduced slowly, like Agger was
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

That would be the ideal scenario but with Agger's injury Sami has been played more than probably anticipated. He could probably do with a rest at this stage of the season.

Anyway if you buy a centre back for £6.5M you should have no qualms throwing him into the fray. I'm looking forward to his debut tonight and I'm sure he'll perform admirably if called upon.

            Good luck Mr. Skertl.

I would think the main worry would be fitness as he had a month off before he came to us. He will be needed soon though so I would anticipate he would at least make a sub appearance.

Yes, that's true, but he must have been training with the team for a couple of weeks at this stage now so I imagine his fitness has improved a great deal. Perhaps he will start and play an hour or so.

He is only a CB though, and seems to be a fit lad (cue gay gags ). I think he could probably manage a start if we need him to.

Villa have scored nearly half their goals from set pieces. 18 out of 40. That is the most in the Premiership. Their main men are Barry and Young who both have 5 assists and 1 goal from set pieces. Barry might be a doubt for today but Young is not only lethal in pace but with free kicks.

Laursen is a danger from set pieces.

A Spurs lad in work just said the same to me "Watch out they're good from set pieces". I think Villa scored a bundle against them.
Well, here we are in a room with two manky hookers and a racist dwarf. I think I'm heading home.

Who was it that had the gay mag pics of him?

Hyypia a cert to start then if Villa are so strong at set pieces? Not many better CB in the air than big Sami.

Don't expect too much showing of fans disgust tonight

....match is on Setanta and they don't want to cause ripples in the LFC.tv contract they have with the Pool. Can't see too much showing of fans anger tbh. There WILL be some but not a lot...more than likely there will be the vocal sound heard rather than too much of the visual TV pictures....well that's what I think...anyone else agree?
                          Cheers

I doubt this will impact coverage

I'm not saying it'll hinder it as the fans will be out tonight of that I'm sure, just that setanta wont' want to be seen showing too many anti-pool owners images due tot eh contract they got with LC.tv

I will be sitting having my dinner(kopparberg pints) and swearing at the screen like the best of them

Will your gf be around ? If yes, you'll be screaming as she bites your balls, not at the screen.
