OK so we can put the idea that our supporters have been racist to one side now as Alex has admitted that was a mistake.
I hardly think you can accuse the fans (majority anyway) of not supporting the team or the manager in recent times. I've never known a reaction to the Rafa rumours like that before. It's precisely because of our support for the manager that the suits are getting the abuse, they've undermined him publically, they've undermined him professionally.
This "known as the most knowledgable" stuff is a complete myth. I don't know where it comes from but it was around when we were beating all domestically and in Europe. It's easy to be supportive and diplomatic when you cane everyone. In short, I know fans of rival teams who's football knowledge is positively encyclopedic, I know fans of rival team who understand the game better than Wenger. It's a myth.
My understanding is there will be a protest in the early part of the game followed by the usual quiet support of the team for the rest of it. What's wrong with that?

I was all for singing Rafas name insted of YNWA a while back, but i do not think a protest against businessmen is the right thing for the players on the pitch. As ive said, i watch to support the lads, not to protest the owners
