Our home form has not been good enough; we simply aren't killing off teams when we do play well.

Which would be fine if it was one or two games but it's been the same story all season, not only at home but also in the away matches where we've managed to scramble results against some really poor sides or some not too bad ones - such as the Villa match on the opening day of the campaign.

After so many similar games where the subs always seem to come too late or only when we've lost our advantage you have to question just why it is we're sent out in a certain way.

Haven't seen the match thread but I thought we played well and didn't deserve to lose. Villa's 2nd goal was jammy as hell. What can you do? The lads showed great spirit to fight back after conceding 2 goals in 3 minutes. I thought that showed a lot of character. There was definately more sense of urgency as we pressed for a 3rd to win the game rather than sit back and play for a draw. It was one of our much better performance in the league of late.
