Rick Parry - Give us a smile

Is it me or does he look like a right miserable person these days anytime he's at matches and the camera is on him he has this soar face and that pic of him after the Wigan match i think it was with him lookig miserable again, christ that board room must a right miserable place these days.....

......or does he know that DIC all but own us now and that he's going to get his P45

I have a feeling DIC will come straight in and get rid of him, one of the reasons why he opted to support G & H bid methinks

I don't think that really think his job security had a bearing on his involvement with either bid, he'll get another high profile job easilly. I just think he knows there's been a cataclysmic **** up along the way, and fans are calling for his head, but he knows he can't do anything to stop what the yanks are doing.

He always used to do a column for the LFC mag, and on the website, he hasn't done it for about 7-8 weeks. He's keeping quiet because he knows he can't say anything to ease the fans concerns, I reckon secretly he knows about the DIC bid and is happy to go along with it.

I am curious as to why Parry preferred the yank bid at the last minute when he was previously heavily giving the hard sell to the DIC bid. I can only think it was the promise to be kept on is what swayed it for him.

i think people reckon parry had more input on this than he actually did, as far as i'm aware parry held no share in lfc, or if he did than a minute amount. Moores had to make the main decision and he made it himself as he said himself. Now i'm sure parry advised him as best he could but at the end of the day the board and moores went with what they thought. Parry is just a glorified advisor and mouth piece nothing more nothing less

i thoughtmoores hd a duty to the board (share holders) to accept the highest bid, i think his hands were tied when they offered £1500 more per share.

He has a duty to report a higher bid to the board and the shareholders but he doesn't have to accept it

                          3 things

                          1) can the other shareholders sue him for the difference?

                          2) Did DIC actually table an official bid?

                          3) Did not DIC walk away before any decision was made?
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

i think the way it works is DIC tabled there offer and were expecting a yes from the board which they unofficially got, then fat face came in and enquired if they were still excepting offers which obviously we were and they tabled a higher £ per share, i think (imo) that DIC were not expecting us to listen to other offers as they thought it was a done deal.
then the hissy fit of walking away (within there rights) then the yanks offer is excepted.

i think the decision to listen allow h and g to table an offer tied moores hands when they offerd more than DIC per share, im not shore on this but i dont think you can accept the lower bid.
                            hiensite eh, wonderful thing.

I heard yesterday that Parry has completely stopped taking calls from the press. His phone is always switched off or everyone just gets fobbed off by his secretary. Just a hunch, but that P45 may not be too far away.
