          wasn't he part of the premier league or something, he was involved in setting it up etc if I recall correctly

          He actually did a very good job there too

            they didn't get stick until the end when some young lad ran up and started shouting at them but i couldn't hear what he said and he was ushered away by a steward.

              Rick Parry is a nice man and very passionate behind the scenes about Liverpool. My colleague met him and was very impressed with him.

                      I think realistically there only option would have been to reject the offer considering their stake was only a fraction under 10% and if the other members of the board had opted for DIC then they would have been in a situation where a compulsory sale order could have been effected.
