Skrtels money was already there from the Heinze debacle. Momos money is now partially funding masch which is good business.
Well a lot of people spoke a lot of bull**** about the Skrtel deal then.
I want the yanks out as much as anyone but we cant have it every way.
When it was suggested that they were backing Rafa by letting him sign Skrtel there an avalanche of replies saying that it was only being allowed cos Momo was off.
"With Ron Yeats in defence, we could play Arthur Askey in goal."
Javier Mascherano looks set to leave Liverpool for Italy this summer, according to the player's agent.

Liverpool need to pay £17 million to sign the Argentina international on a permanent deal after the 23-year-old joined on a long-term loan from West Ham last season.
Staying or going: Mascherano's future back in doubt
The club's American owners have as yet failed to agree to the deal with the current furore surrounding their own futures at Anfield taking centre stage.
The fee for Mascherano could be paid in installments, but with the January transfer window door nearing a close, the midfielder is edging closer to the exit door.
"Liverpool have not made any offer at all to buy Javier and it is likely that he will go to Italy next season," Mascherano's agent, Walter Tamer said.
Mascherano is eager to stay at Liverpool but if a deal cannot be finalised this month he is likely to become a summer target for Juventus and AC Milan.
His exit would also add to Liverpool's turbulent season which has been hampered by the uncertainty concerning manager Rafa Benitez's future.
The club's American owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks have been caught up in a transfer row with Benitez and suggested that the Spaniard needs to sell some of his squad players before adding to it.
Benitez has made two signings this month, the £6.5m recruit of defender Martin Skrtel from Zenit St Petersburg, while 16-year-old Alex Cooper has joined from Ross County for £100,000.
Good buisness sense would dictate that they won`t sign him during this turmoil, neither do they need to until the summer. Then he can be paid for in installments which would suit the yanks even more. What`s the rush if the player has stated that he wants to stay with us?
It's not just "agent talk". Masch gave an interview after christmas saying he was depserate to say but that his future was uncertain. I've warned people about this before - according to some I'm an hysteric - we are in serious danger of losing this player due to our clowns of owners.
The same people who are saying this is nonsense were saying the same when I said the yanks were going to sack rafa. Hicks subsequently confirmed this himself.

Goody gum drops, another rumour for the halfwits to get hysterical about.
If we want to challenge for the title then we should be able to sign Masch and all the other players we need. It shouldn't really be Masch or someone else.
It should be Masch plus a few other quality players.
Embarrassing by the way some posters have seemingly taken those quotes attributed to Marscherano as FACT - as if we've never heard of "lost in Translation"
Mascherano loves it at LFC and anyone that says different is deluded. Now where can we find that £17m.... Euromillions?
All I`m saying is it`s better to "Wait and see" than get your knickers in a twist over something that might not happen.Looks like I was right on this one.
You think for a moment that they would have considered this option without massive and direct pressure put on them by the fanbase? Whilst you have been sitting about smugly winding up people on message boards other people have been taking direct action, so that if the worst came to the worst, at least we'd force their hand to keep some of the promises that they gave.
And if you don't believe me there are enough people on these boards involved in that process to back this up.

Here comes Johnny again
soft in your arms I hear the words begin
He promised this time the melody won't end
here comes Johnny again!
There's a tender song inside me
only your sweet voice can play
I heard it once but it disappeared
on the day you went away!
As time slipped by
I thought that I'd forgotten all the lines
but then last night we met again
and I heard them one more time!
Here comes Johnny again
soft in your arms I hear the words begin
They promise this time the melody won't end
here comes Johnny again!
That's right Klinsmann was being bought into clean the toilets. Like I said, you're a WUM, you slag good people off on here, but you haven't got a fecking clue.
If they've backtracked it's because of a helluva a lot of bloody hard work and pressure put on them through direct contact and the press.
