We were dire today but thinking about it now, if he wants to look at playing this 5 man midfield thing, we were better doing it today than in another Premiership game after we dropped points against Wigan when we tried it.
Hopefully it will be a watershed moment when enough is enough and the weaker players are finally pushed out.
As for Skrtel, it was a shocking full debut but we are better writing him off this season and let him get used to playing how we play. When Agger came mid season, he got very little match time that season.Twin boys - now arriving late August 2008.

Got to say well done to the boys done themselves proud today the lot of them (H&W that is) As for that bag of ****e that had the cheek to turn up and shame the red shirt today. I don't think calling most the team ****e today is a knee jerk. Lets face it Liverpool are on par with the biggest clubs in the world but when a load of bin men play us off the park for 45 minutes then you say somthing smells.
ok we had a weakened team out today but if they are the best of the second string then i worry for our depth in the squad. Let not forget this is not the first time this season we have struggled against lower leauge teams (Luton for starters).
I was sitting there watching the game with a ****ing manc and he was pissing himself laughing and i don't blame him. Could you see the mancs or chavski play that poorly at home to non leauge part timers.
Nothing wrong with saying your team played **** and some players are better off not getting in the team. As fans we have a right to expect 100% from all the players when they are in the team.
The worst thing to happen to football was the prem as players now know they can play like donkeys and still walk away with a weeks wage of say £30.000.
Oh well roll on next week and back to buissness.

Crouch was a joke today. I wanted to ****in slaughter him. Mascher kept looking to play him through and the stupid idiot kept running the wrong way. Is the idea of a through ball completely lost on him?
He was offside for his tap-in and his effort level was about 15%. Shocking performance from an england international. I dont think he touched the ball for the first 60 minutes he was that bad.
Then there is Pennant. A £7m winger who cant take on and beat a division 6 player. Abysmal.
Mascher was woeful. His passing was poor and he really needs to do some serious work on his shooting if we are going to spend £17m on him
Not impressed by Skirtle. I hope this was a just a 1 off nightmare
