If Liverpool were an italian team i'm sure some fans would have stormed Melwood by now and be beating Voronin and Kuyt with wooden planks-something I wouldnt agree with so instead let people boo and show their disquiet
nah i wouldn't be beating dirk. he's not over indulgent and he gives his all and who can ask for more than that. i think he's nowhere near good enough but one can only give your best. anyone who works hard for the fans, irrespective of ability, doesn't deserve a boo as they're not cheating us. i don't think dirk cheats us, he's just not up to the standard.

Same here. I've never booed. I just look like a dick doing it. But I undertsnd booing and generally I don't have a problem with it especially when its justified.

As for the kop splitting between those who want to protest and those who don't. Well it's not the first time the kop has been split. During GH's last couple of seasons there was a huge split in the kop. There were arguments almost every single home game. Some loved him and others hated him. It's one of those things. It will die down but it will take it's natural course...

And that's why he'll never be the target of the boo boys or any heckling. He gives 100% but he's just a poor footballer and a very poor striker. It's Rafa who should take all the flak for playing him.

A very poor striker? If he gets any poorer he'll be bordering bankrupt

i'll never have bad feelings about lads who try their best in a red shirt, regardless of ability.

I generally wouldn't boo the team. But let's face most of our players get paid each week as much as H&W spend as a club in an entire year, or at least a significant portion of their annual budget. And our lot were slouching around like they couldn't care less most of the first half. Whereas H&W were really giving it a go. Our players got what they bloody deserved and would have deserved more stick probably.

I am just so fed with this season. Duff owners buggering around. Our manager choosing weird tactics much of the time. And a now lazy bunch of overpaid players thinking they're too good to have to try in an FA Cup tie. AAAARRGGGHHH!

Fernando Torres spoke to Spanish newspaper ‘El País’ for their weekly supplement ‘El Semanal’
                  "
When things are not working out, the fans get behind you more, and that helps to drive you on to give your all when you are out on the pitch. In Spain it hurts when your fans boo their own team when you are not performing well. Here the club comes first, before any of the players. The people are proud to be Liverpool fans, and when you step out onto the street you see hundreds of shirts... they always hold their head up high regardless of whether or not the team have won or lost.

                    Calm down.

We won remember? Have you ever played football against a team miles below your level... It's hard not to feel confident/cocky almost.

The result was never in doubt, H&W played the match of their lives, say 'fair play' and move on.
